With over 30 years of experience in the building services industry, Tony brings unparalleled expertise, having started his career as an Air Conditioning and Industrial Refrigeration Engineer before moving into senior marketing and business development roles with major blue chip companies. Joining us from Eco Facilities Solutions, Tony will lead our operations, strategy, and stakeholder engagement across the North East region. Tony’s leadership and expertise will be invaluable as we further strengthen our presence in the North East region. The Evotech Technical Services team were extremely busy on Stand 432 at the show with lots of interest in our myBEMS Remote HVAC Optimisation solution. This advanced technology and data-led solution enhances HVAC system performance, reduces energy consumption, and significantly lowers carbon emissions. Building upon the success of our myBEMS platform, launched at Build2Perform in 2022, we introduced new AI-based solutions last year and have now further expanded our offering to include our Remote HVAC Optimisation solution to remotely monitor, analyse and optimise commercial HVAC systems in real-time.

Econometric modelling shows that on current energy projections, the global supply of electricity will be incapable of meeting surging demand within the next five years. Unless something changes, by 2033 the electricity needs to store data alone could outstrip total supply. Data centres already consume more energy than the UK, and 65% of this goes on ‘dark data’ which is the term used for single use knowledge assets which are forgotten about but continue to use power.
