Every child has the right to breathe clean air, whether at home, at school or at play

Our mission is to help local schools better understand
what's in the air they breathe, so they can take
action to improve their school environments

Half of UK school pupils are worried about air pollution near their schools

of children are worried about air pollution near their schools *
don't think adults are doing enough to tackle climate change *
of pupils describe the environment around their school as having too many cars *
* Data taken from a recent (April 2021) YouGiv poll commissioned by Substrans, the walking and cycling charity, to find out the attitudes of pupils ages 6-15 across the UK, towards air pollution and climate change.
We spend 90% of our lives indoors, where the air we breathe is up to 5 times more polluted
