BESA launches new specification for ventilation hygiene
The Building Engineering Services Association has introduced a fresh standard for ventilation hygiene, marking another stride in their commitment to mitigate the hazards linked with polluted indoor air.
According to the Association, the TR19® Air Specification for maintaining internal cleanliness and hygiene in ventilation systems is designed to tackle the pressing demand for the improved cleaning and upkeep of ventilation ducts. Healthcare professionals emphasise its significance in minimising occupants' exposure to detrimental airborne pathogens and particulates. The new specification is applicable across new constructions, renovations, and routine maintenance of ventilation systems.
