Evotech has recently supported Crowngate Shopping Centre, in the installation and launch of a free and secure storage lock-up for bicycles, that also includes all the equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
The company’s on-site engineers supported the fit out of the unit, installing ground hoops, dedicated CCTV coverage, power points for charging electric bikes, and a cycle maintenance station.
Evotech also sponsored a children’s ‘Bike of the Future’ drawing competition, with a prize of £1,000 towards bikes for all the family.
Regional Director at Evotech, Matt Carver said, “We are delighted to support Crowngate Shopping Centre in this scheme which encourages local cyclists to travel in an environmentally friendly way, safe in the knowledge there is secure cycle storage available.
“As maintenance contractors for the Centre, our mechanical and electrical engineers have supported the unit installation and installed a brand-new CCTV system for additional security alongside a cycle maintenance station.
“Evotech is thrilled to sponsor the ‘Bike of the Future’
competition, and Annie’s design stood out as the clear winner being so detailed
and well thought out. I hope her and all her family gain much enjoyment from the
bikes Annie has won.”
